Now that you've seen some examples of different climates, it's time for your activity.

Pretend you are going on a vacation. You can choose any of the destinations we've discussed in this lesson. You will need to pack the appropriate clothing for your destination's climate as well as any additional gear that might be required (waterproof boots, rain coats, sun screen, etc.) After choosing a destination and "packing", discuss your choices with your class.

What destination did you pick? How is it different from Missouri's climate? What key factors play a role in the destination's climate? Why did you pick this destination?
